Privacy policy

This policy explains what information WinHub ("we", "us") collects when you visit winhubscript.com, buy from our store, or use our software, and how we use it.

1. Information we collect

  • Purchases (through Shopify): your name, email address, billing details and order history. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Your account: customer accounts are provided by Shopify. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email; we don't store passwords.
  • License and usage data (through Luarmor, our licensing provider): your license key and a hardware identifier (HWID) from the device you run the script on. We may also collect your IP address and when the script was run. This is used to check your license and prevent key sharing.
  • Support: anything you send us in Discord tickets or by email.
  • Website: our website has no user accounts and no advertising trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. Our Shopify store uses cookies needed for checkout and your account.

2. How we use it

  • To process your order and deliver your license key.
  • To validate your license, enforce HWID locks, and prevent abuse, fraud and key sharing.
  • To provide support, handle refunds and communicate with you about your purchase.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't use it for targeted advertising.

3. Who we share it with

Only with the services that run WinHub:

  • Shopify: our store, checkout and customer accounts (Shopify privacy information)
  • Payment processors, through Shopify
  • Luarmor: license management
  • Cloudflare: website hosting, and a record of each order (order number, email address and license keys) used to deliver keys and handle refunds
  • Resend: sends your license-key email
  • Discord: support

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights and prevent fraud. Some of these providers are located outside Australia, so your information may be stored and processed overseas.

4. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as required for tax and accounting. We keep license data while your license is active, plus a reasonable period afterwards for fraud prevention. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below), unless we have to keep it for legal reasons.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, email support@winhubscript.com. You can manage your Shopify account details under Account → Manage Account on our website. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, contact us first; you may also complain to your local privacy regulator (in Australia, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner).

6. Children

WinHub is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version.
